Prerequisites #

Before installing the WooCommerce Shoppable Images plugin, ensure your WordPress site meets the following requirements:

• WordPress Version: 5.0 or higher
• WooCommerce Plugin: Must be installed and activated
• PHP Version: 7.4 or higher (recommended: 8.0+)
• Admin Access: You need administrator privileges on your WordPress site

Installation Methods #

Method 1: WordPress Admin Dashboard (Recommended) #

1. Log into your WordPress Admin Dashboard
   • Go to your website’s admin area (yoursite.com/wp-admin)
   • Enter your username and password
2. Navigate to Plugins
   • In the left sidebar, click on Plugins
   • Select Add New
3. Search for the Plugin
   • In the search box, type: WooCommerce Shoppable Images by WP-Plugz
   • Press Enter or click the search button
4. Install the Plugin
   • Locate the plugin in the search results
   • Click the Install Now button
   • Wait for the installation to complete (you’ll see a progress indicator)
5. Activate the Plugin
   • Once installed, the button will change to Activate
   • Click Activate to enable the plugin on your site

Method 2: Upload Plugin File #

1. Download the Plugin
   • Download WooCommerce Shoppable Images by WP-Plugz
2. Access Plugin Upload
   • Go to Plugins → Add New
   • Click the Upload Plugin button at the top
3. Upload the File
   • Click Choose File and select your plugin .zip file
   • Click Install Now
4. Activate After Installation
   • Click Activate Plugin once the upload is complete

Method 3: FTP Upload (Advanced Users) #

1. Download the Plugin
   • Download WooCommerce Shoppable Images by WP-Plugz
2. Extract the Plugin
   • Unzip the plugin file on your computer
   • You should have a folder named woocommerce-shoppable-images-wp-plugz
3. Upload via FTP
   • Connect to your server using an FTP client
   • Navigate to /wp-content/plugins/
   • Upload the extracted plugin folder
4. Activate in WordPress
   • Go to your WordPress admin dashboard
   • Navigate to Plugins → Installed Plugins
   • Find the plugin and click Activate

Post-Installation Steps #

1. Verify Installation #

• Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins
• Confirm “WPPlugz Shoppable Images” appears in your plugin list
• Ensure it shows as “Active”

2. Check for Plugin Menu #

Look for a new menu item in your WordPress admin sidebar called Shoppable Images

3. Configuration #

Navigate to Shoppable Images > Settings and customize as needed.
